Write a dialogue between two friends about climate change for Class 9 and 10

Sayed Rishad: Hey Rimi, our teacher was talking about climate change in class today. It made me think a lot.

Sayeda Rimi: Yes, Rishad. I also feel worried when I hear about it. The weather is changing so fast these days.

Sayed Rishad: You are right. Last year we had very hot summers, and now the rainy season is not normal. Sometimes it rains too much, sometimes too little.

Sayeda Rimi: Exactly. Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, and many animals are losing their homes. It is really scary.

Sayed Rishad: I read that cutting down too many trees is one of the main reasons. Trees help to clean the air and control temperature.

Sayeda Rimi: True. We are also using too many plastic things and burning more fuel. All these things increase carbon dioxide in the air.

Sayed Rishad: Because of this, the earth is getting warmer. It is called global warming. If we do not stop it now, our future will be in danger.

Sayeda Rimi: Yes. Floods, droughts, and cyclones are happening more often. Farmers are suffering because crops are getting damaged.

Sayed Rishad: We can do small things to help. We should plant more trees, use less plastic, and save electricity and water.

Sayeda Rimi: You are right. Even switching off lights when not needed and walking or cycling instead of using cars can make a difference.

Sayed Rishad: Our generation has to take this seriously. If we start now, we can still protect our planet.

Sayeda Rimi: Definitely. Let’s tell our friends and family too. Small steps by many people can bring big changes.

Sayed Rishad: Yes. We must act before it becomes too late.

Sayeda Rimi: I agree. The earth is our only home. We have to take care of it.

Sayed Rishad: Hello Rimi, did you read the newspaper today? It says global warming is increasing day by day.

Sayeda Rimi: Yes, Rishad. I read it too. It is becoming a very serious problem for our planet.

Sayed Rishad: Exactly. The earth’s temperature is rising quickly. Last summer was extremely hot, and the ice in the poles is melting fast.

Sayeda Rimi: Because of this, sea levels are rising. Many islands and coastal areas may go under water in the future.

Sayed Rishad: I think the main cause is the increase of carbon dioxide in the air. We cut down too many trees and burn too much fuel.

Sayeda Rimi: You are right. Factories, cars, and air conditioners are releasing harmful gases every day. This is making the atmosphere warmer.

Sayed Rishad: As a result, we see more floods, droughts, cyclones, and unpredictable weather. Farmers are suffering a lot because of irregular rainfall.

Sayeda Rimi: True. If we do not control global warming now, our future generations will face big problems.

Sayed Rishad: We can help by planting more trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and give us fresh oxygen.

Sayeda Rimi: Besides that, we should use less plastic, save electricity, and try to walk or cycle instead of using vehicles all the time.

Sayed Rishad: Small actions by each of us can make a big difference. Our government should also make strict rules against pollution.

Sayeda Rimi: You are right. We must act quickly before it is too late. The earth is our only home.

Sayed Rishad: Definitely. Let’s start from today. We should spread awareness among our friends and family too.

Sayeda Rimi: Yes. Together we can save our planet from global warming.
