Dialogue between two friends about their future plans in life for class 7 and 8
Sayed Aminul: Hey Amina, our final exams are coming soon. Have you ever thought about what you want to become in the future?
Sayeda Amina: Yes Aminul, I think about it a lot. I want to become a doctor. I like helping sick people. What about you?
Sayed Aminul: Wow, doctor is a very good profession. I want to become an engineer. I love building things. Maybe I will make bridges or tall buildings one day.
Sayeda Amina: That sounds nice. But why do you want to be an engineer?
Sayed Aminul: Because I am good at Maths and Science. I enjoy drawing and designing things. My father says engineers have good opportunities in our country.
Sayeda Amina: True. My mother is a teacher. She tells me that doctors are always needed. I want to open a small clinic in our village so that poor people can get treatment easily.
Sayed Aminul: That’s a great idea! I also want to do something for our country. After becoming an engineer, I will try to build better roads and schools in villages.
Sayeda Amina: But it won’t be easy. We have to study very hard from now. We must do well in SSC and then in HSC.
Sayed Aminul: You are right. I will study hard every day. I will also read extra books and watch educational videos on the internet.
Sayeda Amina: Same for me. I will practice Maths and English regularly. We should also take help from our teachers whenever we face any problem.
Sayed Aminul: Yes. And we must stay away from bad habits like too much mobile games or social media. They waste our time.
Sayeda Amina: Absolutely. Let’s promise each other that we will work hard and support one another to achieve our dreams.
Sayed Aminul: Promise! I am sure if we try our best, we will surely succeed.
Sayeda Amina: InshaAllah! Our future will be bright.

Sayed Aminul: Hey Amina, now that we are in Class 10, everyone is asking about our future plans. Have you decided what you want to do after SSC?
Sayeda Amina: Yes Aminul, I have thought about it a lot. I want to become a doctor. After SSC, I will take Science in HSC and then prepare for medical admission.
Sayed Aminul: Doctor is a noble profession. Why do you want to choose this career?
Sayeda Amina: I like helping people. In our village, many poor patients cannot get proper treatment. I want to become a good doctor and serve them. What about you?
Sayed Aminul: I want to become a computer engineer. I am very interested in technology and programming. After HSC, I will try to get admission in BUET or any good engineering university.
Sayeda Amina: That’s great! Our country needs more skilled engineers. But studying engineering is not easy. It requires strong Maths and Physics.
Sayed Aminul: You are right. That’s why I am working hard on these subjects now. I also watch free programming tutorials on YouTube. After becoming an engineer, I want to develop useful apps and software for Bangladesh.
Sayeda Amina: Nice plan. I also dream of opening a modern hospital in our village one day so that villagers don’t need to go to the city for treatment.
Sayed Aminul: Both of our dreams are meaningful. But we must remember that success needs hard work, patience, and consistency. We cannot waste time on mobile games and social media.
Sayeda Amina: Exactly. From now on, we should make a proper study routine, solve previous year questions, and take guidance from our teachers.
Sayed Aminul: Yes. We should also develop good habits like reading books and staying physically fit. A healthy body and mind will help us reach our goals.
Sayeda Amina: True. Let’s promise each other that no matter how difficult it gets, we will support and motivate one another to achieve our dreams.
Sayed Aminul: I promise! If we stay focused and work sincerely, I am sure we will succeed one day.
Sayeda Amina: InshaAllah! Our future will be bright and successful.
